Upon the establishment
of a car-wash, it is very
important to select right
car-washers. Price varies
depending on the type of washers.
Roll-over type car-washer
costs approximately KW 40
million and engineering work
& wastewater treatment
facility cost about KW 20
million. The expenditure for
tunnel type is a lot higher
than that. The price of tunnel
type car-washer ranges from
KW 100-200 million. KW 20
million for wastewater treatment
facility and KW 40 million
for wastewater recycling facility
are required. In addition,
about KW 300,000/month is
spent for the operation of
wastewater treatment facility
including KW 150,000, KW 50,000
and KW 50,000 for chemicals,
electricity and sludge removal,
respectively.
Other expenditures include
labor cost and utilities such
as water & power. The
number of car-washing required
to reach break-even is 30,
100 and 40 for roll-over car-wash,
tunnel type car-wash and self
car-wash, respectively. Therefore,
commercial condition and location
are more important than site
size in car-wash business.
What is more critical to the
success of the business is
to select right type of car-washing.
